I do not know why I did, but it must have been under some desire to find a dog that like the darn things. Anyways, I tried again with out 9-month Cattle Dog, and wasn't expecting too much from it. He took to the thing right away! Also, we have dogs come over to visit, and all of them wanted the bone too! The one thing that is different from this bone and the the other ones I've gotten is the shape. This wishbone shape allows the dogs to more easily hold on to it while they gnaw away. It seems to keep them interested.
